Before I was allergic to fish I did fancy a nice plate of fish and chips so I still can appreciate a good one. Welcome home to the states, sister.
Oh, so sorry to hear about the fish allergy. That would be a drag.GRAVY on fish and chips? That's a new one to me. However, in Utah nearly every place serves "fry sauce" made with ketchup and mayo mixed, so I guess every place has it's own sauce to dip fried potatoes.
I'm a malt on my fish and chips fan. Gravy doesn't do it for me either.Though I'm not really fond of cooked fish (my husband makes up for me), crispy fried fish is my favorite next to sashimi.
